help with fog lights
I picked these up at a swap and was wondering if anyone can tell me what these were from and what era would they be suitable for.
They are Hella on the lenses and are marked 2-101169, also sf-s1 ![]() ![]()

I have the same set but in amber on my 1973.5T. These could have been used back into the 60's and into the 70's models. If you decide to use these, I suggest you purchase a set of covers available from many vendors to add years of life to the glass.

Those are not Porsche application. The swivel mount on the back is incorrect. Porsche mounts for that style of light is straight out of the back.
The front bezel and glass are the same for the case style that is for Porsche. By the way, that style only used on 69-71 911/912. Once the S spoiler came out, the only below bumper light offered was the round 118. Mid year cars were offered with Bosch not Hella.

This is what the back of the Porsche version looks like. Hard to see, but there's a grommeted pass-through for the wiring above the mount.
