This is my reply to folks who ask if I want to sell. I figure, if someone really wants *this* car, they'll pay for it. I like this car, and want to keep it. However, if someone is going to part with, say, nice 930 money to have my car, well, I'd love to have a nice 930.

I've never been asked if I want to sell but I have been asked "how much do you think it's worth?" from strangers in parking lots in a probing sense hoping I'm oblivious to the current market for these cars.

Scam Alert!!!

I'm sure there are valid inquiries about value etc... But I had this same "block" style handwriting
note put on my 4runner. I think it's a similar scam as the group dropped off in a "nice" neighborhood saying they're flying to Africa to play a soccer match for the homeless.
I called the guy because it pissed me off that he actually touched my car in my driveway.

I do this all the time to cars that look neglected/unloved. Once you fix it up the notes should stop but the admiring glares/conversations will start.

I've had a few people knock on my door asking about purchasing my car. I get 4 or 5 PMs a month also asking if my cars is for sale. Still, no notes.
