It's the tail end of winter, the roads are coated in salt, and we're expecting another 12 inches of white stuff. He is the most entertainment I'm getting out of Porsche ownership right now other than sitting in mine in the garage with a beer, making engine noises with my mouth.

Does anyone understand what he's saying?
He starts a thread bashing another poster to clean up the forum?

In your world, do all the economy car drivers drive Porsches?
Last I checked, Porsches were not known to be in the "budget" category.

A new 911 is $100k
A new Civic is $20k

Are you saying 911's are cheaper than Civics?
A used 911 with 100k may go for $23k
A used Civic with 100k may go for $6k
A used Civic S2000 with 100k may go for $12k

"Everyone hates him!! Ban him!"

Look at the last few threads I've started in "marketplace discussion" forum:
  • Look at these 911's for sale. Might be worth pursuing.
  • Discuss 1984-1989 3.2 Carrerras that SOLD on ebay.
  • What does a G50 or 915 rebuild cost?
  • 996 is a massive bargain...
  • Flipper spotting!
  • Are prices dipping down as winter approaches?

Don't like these topics? Then don't post in them!

I am researching and shopping for a 911, just like anyone else.

Modetator.

Please delete Pushingmyluck. He is trolling this forum.

I have been a customer for many years and spent thousands of dollars buying parts. I have always been very happy with all of your services, but dont let this site become a social media trolling forum.

Christian

This is funny. PML is niave enough to think that he's going to be banned. He's actually scared. That's down right funny.

No, Christian's plea is real. But his prayer has no teeth. If we systematically started reporting your offensive posts might see some action. But you would be warned first before an outright ban.

You are a disruption. It's a choice you have made. You can change your behavior and most of us would live and let live. But if you continue down the path you are on your time here won't be enjoyable. People don't like shyte disturbers.

I was thinking the other day: if PML and Christiandk just got a room and left the rest of us to return to our regularly scheduled activities, I for one would be happier.

Now this on the other hand is the sort of harassment that does lead to people being banned from forums.

You think 20% is inconsequential? Would you pay $30,000 for a car that is only worth $25,000? Are you really this dense?

Yes, you can get a $6000 rebuild on a G50. If you blow your ring and pinion, it's $3000. If you need a new mainshaft it's $1800. There are ways that a rebuild can add up. But one single rebuild that likely had extenuating circumstances does not the average rebuild price make. Get with the program PML.

Well, I am sorry that my posting is not to the liking of His Higness.

For your information I have helped several members find their dream car and will of course help others with advice if I can. I too get lots of info by members here who have more knowledge than myself. That is what this forum is about.

But I admit that it is easy to get carried away by "off topic" issues and post comments that were better left not shared with others. On that note I will try not to do so in the future.

Enjoy your sunroof

Christian

Ahh, let him be. He is a pain in the ass with all his threads here and on RL, but it is entertaining to see if he will ever get a Porsche. We should start a pool on it.

Bryan,

Are you saying that PML doesn't own a 911? I always figured that it was a prerequisite. Maybe I should join a forum for bush pilots, or brain surgeons, or alpaca farmers. I don't know anything about those topics. I'm sure I'd have interesting observations to add.
