What's been your experience driving various Porsches?

Beyond that, what's the point of your post beyond returning to the same behavior that got you banned last time?

I could list all of the Porsches I've owned in 40 years but they would not fit in the alloted space for sig lines. :)

But how many Hondas?

I've owned two Hondas. One had a SI swap do it didn't get the fuel economy I was looking for and the other was a modified 954RR and I feared for my life. Hoping to find a Porsche that lands in the middle, but more on the fear for my life side.

Speeder is definitely not a Troll, and he's right. You're just missing some context that the audience as owners of 80's 911s understands... or at least I do.

Please don't ask for a further explanation as those who own them probably get it and explaining it to someone who doesn't would be too complicated to properly convey without you having hands-on knowledge. I could insert a 1/2 dozen analogies here, but hopefully you understand that.

In general, PushingMyTrolling eliminates context on purpose in order to create and sustain controversy. And he loves to keep stirring the pot in order to make sure the threads go on and on and on.

He's not interested in Porsche, or in buying a 911, or in actually learning anything. He merely here to fling schitt around and generally make an asch of himself.

I've owned two ZC swaps, one in a 3G AWD wagon and one in a 4g AWD wagon. Both really fun little cars that got me hooked on the rally bug. That's how I started down the Subaru path. I've done about a dozen JDM swaps on early imprezas and Legacies, a few that I owned and a few that I was paid to perform.

I guess I should clarify that I'm looking for a different kind of thrill than just sheer speed. My slowest car has without a doubt been my most fun and difficult to control car.

Interesting to see peoples backgrounds here. I don't think of most Porsche owners coming from a path of Hondas or Subarus, but they're all fun cars. I started out a Ford guy with a ridiculous '88 Crown Victoria with a built 331 stroker, then I bought a Nissan 300ZX and went through a couple S14 240s and the old Celica while DD'ing various Lexus and BMWs. I like them all.

Call it economic. I grew up in the Bay Area on a diet of vintage racecars and IMSA Camel racing. In 1988 I got the dream summer job of being a detailer and driver at a luxury exotic broker. Drove my first 930, Testarossa, and Countach that summer.
During college I became an extreme athlete, climbing, biking and skiing anything you could go up and down. Spent a decade in that career, which is when I started modding cars.
But the love of Porsches never left and my high school vow to own one by 30 was always a goal. Missed it by a couple of years, but when I was offered a job at Carquip I saw my chance. That began my next career in the Pcar aftermarket about 12 years ago.

I like any car that I like. And I hate snobs and ignorance, which seem to go together. Great crowd here.

Well, back to the topic, comments on the seller aside, that is a robust price, but not out of line. I see the sport seats as a significant value add to the right buyer and the color is +15%, IMO.

If the car were red, $29,500 would be the right price (and I just happen to know of one).
