Testing waters on euro 911 that will be for sale
My wife and I picked up this car and plan to sell it. I have looked at values on these but thought I should through this out to get some opinions on it. Interior is a 9 and ext is a 9.5.

1979 Euro Porsche 911 SC Grey Market Car With All Steel Wide Body Slant Nose Conversion.
We have purchased a 1979 Euro 911 SC with a steel wide body slant nose conversion. The car has been in hibernation since at least 2006 but was smogged every other year through 2010. The car was never driven and the license plates that have been assigned to the car since at least 2006 have never had reg. stickers put on them and are still attached to the registration papers. Since the car has been sitting it needs mechanical work to get it up to speed and we are looking at our options as to put the money into the car and sell it or sell it as a project. If we do the work it would start on Monday January 13th. The car was inspected at Fast Lane Porsche in Santa Cruz, CA and we have a list of what is needed. Repairs are estimated at about $6,000.00 and is as follows.
1. 4 New cross drilled rotors and brake pads.
2. New front wheel bearings
3. All 4 brake calipers rebuilt.
4. All new brake lines.
5. New clutch if needed.
6. Drop motor and replace bad oil lines and oil thermostat.
7. Install pop off valve. Never done
8. Install Carrera chain tensioners. Never done
9. Install turbo valve covers.
This car was imported to the states in 1984 and I have all of the Federal documentation. The conversion was done in 1994 and I have the receipt for it. The car was originally red and no rust. The head lights were never installed but the driving lights do work. There are nonadjustable gt3 style racing seats that are very nice installed. The car sits on true 3 piece wheels and there are no wheel spacers on this car. We are open to offers or trades so feel free to contact me. Car currently has 130,000 miles and is located in the Santa Cruz area.
I’m in no hurry to sell so please no low balling.

I am always amazed that people think their previous posts won't be remembered/investigated.
