3 interesting 911's '66 911S- '73 S/RSR- '67 softie Targa
I got onto a dealers site who has these three for sale.
LHD '67 Soft window Targa RHD '66 S. RHD '73 S/RSR s/rsr blurb. This car was another rare find. This is one of several 911s that were special ordered by Brumos Porsche/Audi & upgraded with 911S/T fender flares and original 2.4-liter engine built up to 2.8-liter spec. This 911 S was equipped with electric sunroof, full leather, power windows & A/C! It was built by the well known Peter Gregg of Brumos Porsche fame in Florida. Correspondance with Hurley Haywood at Brumos has confirmed the car’s history. The original owner was Andrew Carduner who’s father owned Gerrard Record Players, and was major sponsor on the Brumos 911RSR entry in the 1973 Daytona 24 Hour race that took 1st outright. This car was created by Peter Gregg to look like the road going version, being the only racing Brumos Porsche to be painted yellow, all subsequent cars were white. [B] This famous RSR has competed in the Phillip Island 6 Hour Regularity, as well as the Phillip Island and Sandown Historics since 2007, but now spends its time just on the road. Fitted with 8 and 9 inch fuchs wheels with Michelin TB15 tyres, this Porsche 911 is the ultimate early 911. Posting links not working for me atm. Will post them asap.
