These hot rods are nice but way too much money.....tracking down a good chassis then doing all that work, just for "The Look", is beyond me in real dollars.
Yes, to each their own, but it has been done for years on long hoods when the cars were cheap. We did a 69E into a IROC car in the 80's, heck the 69E was worth only about $5000 at the time....and no one wanted the car...so it was modified...now to do it just takes MONEY, and no care on what it costs or what it's worth... |

I've owned a few really nice stock 911's & 930's and a few hot rods. All I can say once you've driven a well build hot rod - the stock ones as valuable as they may be just leave you wanting for more. The cool thing about building a hot rod is you get to build your car just the way you want it, assuming you have the $$$. In the old days you'd have a hard time getting all your money back, I don't think that is a true any longer. You see more and more built on newer chassis because the 69-73 cars have gotten so valuable.
