1965 911

I live and work outside of the USA. Back in 1998 I bought a 1965 911 VIN 300622 (motor is a 1967) - It is now fully restored and my plan was to enjoy and drive it when I come back to the USA in the next few years - but now I have had an offer for 200K which has me thinking and wondering what to do - want to know if it is good offer or not

Sounds like a lot of money to me? Did you paint the bolts for the rear lid latch?

It appears that they were painted during the restoration

what he said! take it while you can, who knows what tomorrow brings? I'll tell you, tomorrow brings whatever you want with $200K, that's a sweet chunk to play with.

The level and quality of the restoration is reflected in those painted bolts...didn't know Porsche painted anything white in 1965? My hound says take the 200 large and go to Vegas.

Porsche Literature 65-73 / Lit service from ESSES

Porsche Literature 65-73 / Lit service – PART ONE : Color charts
Year : 1965/1967 US/RoW
Type : color chart 911/912, color/ Issue code: W 25.8.66
Throughout 1965 and 1966/67, this color chart was the standard color chart issued by the factory for client use.
It does not cover special colors which was printed in a special dealer-only folder .
The cover pictures a very early 911.
During the early introduction of the 901/911 some RoW /US dealers printed their own colorchart & accessories list but those items showed no color chips and used descriptions with color codes only.
