Parts value ???
Hi,
I'm clearing out some of my old Porsche parts. I have a box of 2.2 parts from an engine rebuild. When I needed to get a valve replaced, I took the plunge and had the entire engine rebuilt. I'm looking to find out what an appropriate value might be for an entire set of original 2.2 911T pistons/cylinders, cams, rocker arms, etc. Shipping might be a problem as the entire box is quite heavy. I plan on cleaning up all the parts within the next couple of weeks. As far as I know, my mechanic stated that all the parts were still in good working order and questioned why I wanted the entire engine rebuilt. Well, since he was in there, I decided to go down the 2.2 911E build rather than stick w/the iron cylinder setup of the 911T. Anyhow, you opinion on the value of this set is appreciated. HB BTW, I'll be going through more of my Porsche parts, which includes varies parts like H1 headlights, sugar scoops, wiring portions, etc.
