1976 930 engine and transmission price check

I have a set of 1976 930 engine and transmission, want to know how much it can sell, the engine just been complete rebuild.

Because it is short bell housing, the 930 4spd gearbox is worth around $4k as a core. Add $1k if is has a 12 stamped between type number and serial number and still contains the factory LSD.

As you do not reply to my Pm's ill take it here.
I bought this from you at a cost of 6.5k including importation tax etc recently.
You sold me this gearbox in a other tread and other user name,which alone should have raised suspicion.
Another lesson learned
I know the reason now,the gearbox is junk.
Cracked case on 2 sides,bend main axle.
If i say bend,when turning the flanges the axle move half a inch!
I wil see this as a write off,but other buyers beware of this guy.

You've exposed vinyl_tien as someone to be avoided which, assuming your side of the story is accurate is a good thing, but what about the other user name you made mention of?

I have seen vinyl_tien as a regular participant in the forum. If this is true of using another name to sell junk that is quite the thing and is worth bringing to attention of other forum members. This is not something you like to see happen to anyone on both sides. Thanks Rob.

If damaged in shipping, a claim needs filed. If not and u paid with credit card file claim there.
Either way vinyl needs to refund to this buyer NOW. That's raw.
