Porsche Crest Mecum Monterey 2015 live on youtube

Looks to be plenty of p-cars on the block over the next few days, including the McQueen 930 that was posted.
I enjoy watching the live action. Almost feels like I'm there.
Anyone else watching?
Anything other than the McQueen car catch your eye?

Thanks for the heads up on the web coverage.

Pretty typical Thursday mixed bag. A nice '73T stalled at $60K but so far no real surprises.

Here's the lot list: https://www.mecum.com/view-lots.cfm?auctionID=CA0815&runDate=08-13-2015&featureDay=Thursday&page=4

Hope someone tells the Mecum crew how to push 911/912's. So far the guys in the middle are putting the heels of their hands just above the lower curve of the engine lid. Right where it's super easy to dent! Drives me crazy........

Will people use this auction to formulate their positions on the state of the market?

Looked extremely clean from my livingroom view. Seems like big money for Thursday.

It's an "eclectic" group that they hire to drive (and push) the cars onto the block. I have my doubts how much actual training and instruction is provided to this crew outside of "be careful or we'll fire ya".

Did they remind the bidders that they aren't makin' 'em any more?

Based on the last auction I went to, many of the Porsches were rushed to market with obvious problems, but shiny paint... it's as if the sellers were racing to catch the bubble.

Based on 'quiet sales' I know of, we should see some new record high numbers for top tier long hoods.

My sense of Monterey 2015 is that the top cars are bringing a bit more than a year ago. There are a few Porsches that were brought to the lesser auctions IMO, to fill up inventory lists. Several of those cars would not have made the cut 3-4 years ago. It appeared to me that Gooding held on to its standards.
