With no known receipts, leakdown, or anything else that might help you or the potential buyer, I suspect it's realistically worth $2500-$3200 depending. That is, if the leakdown is good. A 2.7 is as good as a core if there are that many unknowns.

As a bare case, perhaps, but as part of a complete engine, not so much. The parts inside are indicated by the stampings and the blank case creates a question.
