Great engine. Great gearbox. Great chassis. What's not to love?

Dude, you could drive that thing non-stop across every border of every Euro country and not feel fatigued a bit. I would get into it for the 912E. A modern ride for sure. What's the deal on the Club Sports? I don't really know the history of 968s that well.

Well the CS has no more power than the normal 968 but it is lighter due to various stuff not put into it. Pretty much the same concept as the RS America.
It had wider wheels, LSD and a stiffer, suspension IRRC. Have had some 944's. Only thing that ever bugged be was the transaxle noise. Never could get them to quiet down even with new bearings. |

I spent some time in the right seat of a well developed 968 track car and was gobsmacked at how excellent it was. Tons of torque on corner exit and lovely balance.

Yep, very close to the same HP as early 951 s but more torque. Great cars.

I really like my 968, and Byron is right, the torque is surprising if you're not expecting it. It will however be for sale in spring, the 996 turbo's are just too enticing.
Just my personal feeling but I think if any water cooled Porsche will be collector crazy, it would be the 968. Very low production, Porsche built at Z plant, plus it was Dr. Porsche's favorite model according to him!

- To open luggage compartment you pull a lever - like you do to open a 911/930 engine compartment lid. CS should have no rear seats either. For Clubsport, confirm VIN last 6 -digits are 815*** like this: WP0ZZZ96ZPS815123

Low production, 6 speed, and more modern looking than a 944. These cars could be the first true collectible water cooled cars......
