996TT guys: are miles a factor?
I am looking at buying a 996TT, are cars over 75k miles ok?
Obviously doing a PPI on the perspective candidate, but should I stay away from high miles? Or can that engine handle it like it's older air cooled brother....Thanks. Last edited by Nachtfalter; 02-20-2015 at 05:03 PM.. |

That's not high miles. That's a Mezger. A genII Mezger water cooled engine of GT1 fame. That's just broken in.

The key factor is the service history. If the car was cared for the 75K is no issue at all.
