Interior or stereo
Which is it that makes this car so valuable. Or is it the vintage 3 iron hood support?

It's the white steering wheel pad.
This car has been around awhile. I have seen it for sale for the past year or so. He's been trying to cash in on the longhood craze, but no one has been crazy enough to buy it at his asking. I think the current best offer is more than fair, considering it's missing the motor, which is the prime reason 911Es get the prime money. |

It still amazes me how things have changed in four short years. If that car was advertised that long ago, you would have had to schedule a Dr. appt to address the stomach cramps you were having from laughing so hard. Now it's actually becoming a serious contender. Amazing!
Every nite before bed I spend about an hour driving around the country on Craigslist looking at all the Porsche's for sale. Some really strange stuff out there. If you haven't done that, here's how. Load up your local Craigslist. In the top left search box enter Porsche. Leave the box below on "For Sale" and hit search. This will bring up everything that's Porsche related, even if it's incorrectly listed under plumbing supplies. Parts, cars, shirts, hats, posters, etc. Once you have looked at that page of results, go to the very top left drop down menu that has all the nearby cities. Pick any city and click on it. "Porsche" will remain the search, but a new city will come up. If you know your geography, you can move to the west, north, south, or east around the country one city at a time and find everything out there in a short amount of time. It gives you a great overview of what costs what, and where the deals are. Right now the best prices on the best cars seems to be in the Dallas area, but there are some great deals even in N. Dakota or some other obscure area's. Have fun, I do. |

I like the Coca-Cola machine in the background. Really shows where the design inspiration came from on that interior.

It took so long to get all the bondo just right that he forgot when he bought it.
The mirrors seem to be in the wrong place for a 914. Maybe it's my eyes. |
