Value 1965 Engine 901/01
May be some one can help to price a 1965 901/01 Engine.
There are only few parts missing: Airbox, 3 pistons, linkage. The original Carbs are there incl the original pump. So what is worth a engine like this. Any help would be appreciated.

So what if it wasnt missing the elusive airbox and linkage? Never seen a complete airbox for sale...just people looking for them or to complete theirs... and the main linkage in most of the Solexs I see for sale are missing too. The reason I ask is I'm trying to get an idea of what my Solex setup is really worth... its the carbs, linkages, and the airbox... and a pierburg pump. |

Six years ago I sold a nice set of Solexes with linkage for $5k. I bet I could get twice that today.

Looks like the Ebay one is missing the crossover linkage, a small linkage, and also has a part of the manifold busted off. Feel sorry for the guy who dropped it!

Since early 65 does it have lube cam and the right cam tower 6 bolt exaust valve cover.
