Speedster on the 'Bay

Any thoughts on this one? Market-right, or a bit much?

Seller also has a lot of 911 spares, anyone dealt with this one?

Well, that does not look like an original 964 Speedster WTL to me - even if it is it is not worth the asking because of the "checkered past", mods and tip.

Buyer should check vin with Porsche.

VIN number decodes as a real Speedster, never going to be a museum car. Looks like a fun driver.

Every 94 cab us model has a vin number which decodes to a speedster. As we all know not all of them are. The speedster parts are expensive and hard to find. The tip trans makes it not a fun driver. Same for the price. Imo its not worth near the ask in price. Its also been on the market for months.

Agreed, somewhat overpriced. I looked into this one and confirmed the build. The tip was a deal breaker.

Very few 964Speedsters were build with the standard interior - most has the RS interior plus I dont think that there ever was build WTL 964 Speedsters - even though I have read somewhere that a couple were made.

iirc NONE were built with the standard interior. You couldhave had the standard seats as a no cost option but not the standard door cards.

The car was stolen and recovered without an engine.... thus, it was cheap to pick up and turn into a wide body speedster. Nothing to see here, its a hatchet job. His price is a joke.
