Fuchs Values?

Anyone care to take a stab at Fuchs values? Specifically, a set of 4, 16x7 and 16x8, vs 15x6 and 15x7? All in comparable condition, nice paint, no curb scrapes.

My Weissach had the 16s on it when I bought it. Nice upgrade, but not original. An opportunity has presented itself to swap my 16s for the correct 15s that are even painted the correct Platinum Metallic.

So, just curious if the 16s command sufficient premium over the 15s that I shouldn't consider a straight across swap?

Thanks!

Makes all the sense in the world. It's interesting, I have seen quite a bit in print stating 15x6 and 15x7 as the original sizes, and equally as much stating 15x7 and 15x8.

Maybe I'll just paint my 16s. Thanks.

It's not my site but is very accurate. Although, my SC didn't come with cruise. This link is specific to the 16's and has notes on the 15's. I have 15's on mine but have a hard time finding 225/50 and 205/55 series tires. I got the last pair in the warehouse when I needed to replace the rear tires. 16's may have better luck.

SO what would a set be worth? I've got a set that someone is interested in (White, not Weissach ones). Matching center caps. I don't know where the market is these days. Nice driver quality wheels without curb rash. Not show condition though.

Paternie's Red Book says 1980 Weissach had 6Jx15 Fuchs front & 7Jx15 in the rear fitted with Pirelli CN36 185/70R15 215/60R15.

I bought a mint - only washed with distilled water - set of 7X15, 8X15 for $900 in 2010. I sold my scruff set for $400 . . .
