Thinking again about wheels and tires.
More about tire availability. I have a pair of 951 16x8s in front and a pair of 16x9s in back. Finding 245/45-16 tires is a pain, and not getting easier, so I've been thinking about Euromeister replacements, just because of tire availability.
I have zero idea what these wheels go for any more. Let's say they are in decent condition, and they are still factory anodized, but the black paint has been removed. Do folks still pay big dough for these wheels? The parts marketplace is sort of opaque as to an up-to-date valuation. |

Hey DB!
I went thru this exact quandary, I'd exhausted the last set of 265/16 CUMhos avail in the US and was not about to go back down to 245s considering I was roasting off the 265 pencil erasers. And, agree with the bleak availability options. Homey don't play that. I punted, and washed into new tires all around on Fikse 18s. If that gives you $ idea 8-) And, looks factory enough to me heh heh. being that the black is gone diminishes value somewhat but not tragic, some prefer such. Email me for more info and / or general random and nonsensical berating. Stanley. |

Yeah, that's about what I thought. I figured that if I were going to sell, I'd sell on the lower side of reasonable, and have plenty of cash left over for Euromeisters and some nice, sticky rubber.
Yeah, I am running newish Kum-HOES right now, but with the camber I'm running in the rear, they won't last but another couple of years. |
