Good looking '73 911 - (slightly modified)
I wonder if at some point he realized he just might have gotten in too deep on this one?
1973 PORSCHE 911 WITH 993 TURBO BODY ALL CUSTOM MADE Update: Just noticed the awesome NAPA inside door handles and window cranks. Definitely needed those photos to help the sale.......

I guess this guy didn't realize that for $65k, you could get a pretty nice real 993.

Nothing wrong with that car that another $15K wouldn't fix...

Wow, yet another guy that followed the "sheep in wolf's clothing" concept in an automobile build.

Not when you can buy the car for $40k. $55k in a solid 73 hot rod is chump change these days. Ask Emptyo how much he is spending on his 3.6 swap. I bet you it's easily $15k if not pushing $20k.

I've stopped and looked at the listing on this one several times:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/875570-1973-911-targa-sale.html More work to bring back right than the 993 body and the take off parts would be harder to sell, but $30k for a 3.6 swap with Wevo built 915 in it. For a paint and body specialist who wants a targa this one is worth saving. Though there might be that oddball collector who likes the provenance of that blight as it sits and wants to put it into a collection. To me it's just another '73 911T dolled up like a hooker on Saturday night.

That is almost poetry, and worth commemorating.
This car is a sign on the road to perdition. Preserved as a warning to others….
