It's pretty sad when you can't even make bright white look straight.
That car is waving at me in every photo. So back at ya.

Nah. I’d just be happy doing a driver level build for a personal hot rod. And some of the mechanical heavy lifting I would do myself. I don’t need factory new restored. Garage built works for me.

Wow, even the passenger seat is ripped. Seats reveal the true mileage!

Best part of the white hot mess on Craigslist is the seller consider it “excellent” condition.

I wonder what “good” condition looks like

Engines can be fixed. It's just pennies to many.

That's a real joke. I'll sell you my guards red 88 coupe with fewer miles and I am sure as nice if not nicer for a lot less.

pennies?? I don't think so even with access to wholesale pricing it still adds up quickly and it is labor more than parts. This guy will have me rebuild the engine when he is ready and even giving him a good rate adds up even more. It will look and run like new when done though.

I refurbish and or replace everything as needed.
The 964 engine I am working on now. I agree to some money is no object but this guy wasn't one of them.

The seller probably should have taken the high bid on the last auction he ran. He's run this car on every auction site, and all the forums at prices that were crazy. The high bid on Pcar was $7900. It may not have been a legit bid, who knows. But if you asked me thats top top top dollar for this car. Love to see it sell so it doesn't end up on this thread every time he relists it.

I recall seeing it in the high teens but I wouldn't doubt it was listed in the 20's.

"verified" that it was a Porsche.

The phony plaque is a nice touch.

Original title of ad from 8/2/19

"Brumos 924S For Sale $28,000 OBO trades considered"

Not kicking the seller as I don't know him but its almost sad to see this one continue to play out

$28k wow I didn't recall it being offered that high, what a joke. The seller bought the car on BAT for something like 7 grand. (yikes)

If you asked me the seller is engaged in fraud. This was not a special model from Porsche, and he's trying to portray it as one. He is also not being forthcoming about the condition of the car or the true miles. If you look at the recent listing on Pcar its very deceptive. Both of the front seats are ripped up, there are no pictures of the seats except from an angle that hides almost all of the damage. The letter and plaque he printed up are bogus. There are plenty of other deception by omission items too.

The problem the seller has now is there are permanent records of this car all over the internet so the seller needs to find 1) a person who has no idea that the car is not something special from Porsche and 2) someone who doesn't look anywhere on the internet or google the VIN number. .... Good Luck.
