I agree, 43k with ripped seat, etc.
Good color at least. Hopefully the folks saying we are in a bubble don't use this as an example. Although things seem to be cooling down, we know someone just paid 42k for a g50. Doesn't seem that soft to me. |

At this point, 99% of the asking prices that I see for these cars (NA 911s, Turbos, 912s, 914s, etc.) make me laugh . . . real market or not, I find the whole thing chuckle worthy (actually the "real" aspect is probably even morerer funnierer).

I thought the prices were crazy last year. I kept thinking it would correct and maybe it has some but I still see cars being flipped a lot more than bought to keep. To me that's the sign of a speculative market.

I love the color. Nice interior -- sport seats. 3.2 conversion in a middie. I'm not a big polished Fuchs guy, but those fit well with the headlight rings. I even like the decals. They are asking at least $10-15k too much for it, but it is a cool car, IMO.

I agree it looks very nice... they have had the car for more then a year. The had it listed as all original perfect nut and bolt restoration for $69,995 for about 12 months. Then they took it down for a few weeks and now its back with a new description and lower price. Its not going to sell at this price either but at least they are not claiming its all original.

Just using the "frame-on" restoration term demonstrates they are freaking clueless! "Frame-on restoration" is a lame term even for cars that have frames. I wonder if it has had a "glass-in repaint" and a full bottom-end engine refurbishment?

This is a giggler.
Don't need to sell it so will only take full asking... Pay no attention to the car wash curb-rash and normal 15y/o scratches http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/906006-2001-996-tt-6spd-38kmiles-rainforest-metallic-green-bone-stock.html
