Ah yes... a 1972 coupe (?) "restored" to be an impact-bumper update converted to a cabriolet, with a Chevrolet 350 V8 and aftermarket wheels. Did I miss anything? ;-)

To do a complete restoration, you must 1st go to bare metal. And work your way back.

Mechanically, should be the same make as the car, preferably same model, ideally, matching numbers.





Everything thing else should be correct for the car as well, although, some deviation is sometimes acceptable.
As long as they can't be seen.


Then the fun begins.

Course, at the end it should look like it looked when sold new at the dealer, the year it was sold, not what was sold 10 years later, or never sold, to be a restoration
