Need pricing on a friends 356

I'm going to inspect a friends 1960 356b this weekend. The car is rust free but in need of restoration all original paint. Engine + trans numbers matching but not installed in car. I'll take some photos this weekend and post them. Can anyone give me a starting point with this information on pricing for this car to help my friend out. It's his fathers car been garaged for 30+ years. Trans and engine were rebuilt 30 years ago and never put back in.
Thanks for any help.

You might have better luck in the 356 section or possibly Porsche marketplace? Good luck, Tim

$60k-$80k seems high, but not a lot of info to go on. If paint and body do not need to be touched than perhaps not far off. Buyer would want to disassemble, inspect and reseal the engine and go through the brakes, suspension, and steering. Still a costly undertaking. I was thinking more like $40k but I haven't followed the 356 market closely.

A project B coupe is the lowest rung on the 356 ladder. An open car is a different story.
