Given Jake's observation about the interior, "really hard" is an excellent choice of words, Eric!

Does a Dalmatian come with the sale?

Jezza 10-12-2015 06:32 PM

That's going to be perfect in Dubai.

Am I allowed to admit I kinda dig those interiors....well maybe except for the stupid tech in the second one.

No prizes for guessing which decade was formative years.

Well someone fell in love with it because it sold and set a new record for the TT

Mecum in Kissimmee, where else? I can believe that. Low miles, many believe that to be the most important. I'll take a nice 20-30K miles one and use the extra cash for other nice cars, any day. I recently had the opportunity to get a perfect under 200 mile 79 930 still untitled. No way I would want either car.

Wow, whoever has that should put it at auction sooner rather than later.

It's been thru at least 2 owners since I heard of it being available. I had known of it, seeing it under a car cover since the mid 80s. Belonged to a local Porsche dealer who passed. Can't get into specific details but heard the first private sale would have set a auction record to this day. The second sale was even more as it had some special features, more than just low miles. I had interested buyers over the decades, however he always wanted to keep it.
