So much wrong with this! 1600 CC Automatic - "never raced but race ready!" Not to mention the amount of money sunk into it. Also, it looks like the kit manufacturer started with a GT40 mold! Plus free financial adivce!

https://newhaven.craigslist.org/ctd/d/watertown-64-porsche-904-carrera-gts/7607680482.html

Beautifully finished 904 replica with a 1.6L mid-engine. 4 point TRW seat belt harness, backup camera, front adjustable air shocks, Hurst shifter/ auto transmission,, 17" wheels, new tires, front disk brakes, Only 220 miles on the car. Quick removable steering wheel, 99% perfect paint. Never raced but race ready. Never damaged.
Don't Ask if it is still for sale---Ask When Can I See It!!

PS. A quality classic car is a diversified investment you can use and enjoy during your ownership while it increases in value. Save hundreds by insuring with companies like Hagerty.com. A quality classic car looks good on paper and looks good on the road, it will take you back to the days of RT 66!
This is similar to the Porsche Paul Newman drove in Le Mans.

I’ve noticed that within the 914 community there is kind of a body kit cult. These guys are really into the original Sheridan and other kits from back in period. When a guy digs out a NOS never installed one, some of these guys are drooling, waving hundreds, and shouting ,”how much?!?!”

And I’ve seen some of them restoring cars and doing it in a high standard that makes some of them actually look kinda good.

Dude, you’ve got like one of everything.

They seem to gravitate towards the 914 outlaw FB groups more than the usual 914 world type crowd

I am the 1st to admit, because of some of the friends and other's who have been very involved with Porsche Motorsport and more, which has given me some great opportunities, well before the stuff turned to gold. I can't begin to thank some of the people who took me under their wing in my younger years and the amazing things that have been shared with me.

So, yes, I have or had some really cool Porsche history and parts in my care, but if it wasn't for those, who for whatever reason, deemed me "Worthy " I wouldn't have had the opportunities that I had. One opportunity, that I didn't take (bad cash timing) was a friend who was a crew chief for a team with multiple Rolex 24 hours wins, offered to sell my one of his Rolex Daytona watches. Pretty sure those went to his grandkids, as his wife said that I was the only one outside of blood family and the only one he offered it too.

That humility and appreciation comes through in your posts. I don’t ever see them as “hey look at MY stuff” and more you sharing all this cool stuff you have been able to caretake and see. You’re kind of a curator.

And thanks again for the kind words.

It certainly looks like a collage and for a price. What's inside is anyone's guess, but looks presentable. I like it since if in Miami a cab is in order. I'll leave it at that except to say I'm a sucker for a good cab! Not this one though..

All it needs is a Ruf built 3.4 and it’s done.

Not the power train that kills it for me. It's the cosmetic lack of originality only, saying that it is nice, just not my cup of tea.
