993 Cab Pricing in the low 30's?
I've been focused on 993 coupe pricing and ignoring cabs, but these two seem to be pretty reasonable - and the sellers don't sound uneducated about Porsches. I know there's a deduct for cabs but thought I'd share these in case anyone is interested. Or maybe this is typical and I haven't noticed that prices have been dropping?

Sure are.
I was carefully looking at a 62K mile example that had an accident on a Carfax, albeit a minor one(as I know who repaired it) for mid $30's. Car eventually sold for $32.5 I think these are the best air cooled deals out there right now. If I didn't already have a convertible, I'd buy a 993.

I love the second one.
Ain't it funny that cabs are looked down upon by some of the community? In the Porsche community "when the top goes down, so does the price"... Exception: early speedsters......356 cabs.....etc..... MattR |

As a 993 Cab owner who try's to stay on top of the prices, those certainly seem the exception... to the point I wonder if there is something fishy. Especially the 2nd one. If that car is as advertised, I bet its already gone or close and will be re-listed $10-20k richer by a dealer.

I kinda liked the 2nd one as well so I left him a voicemail out of curiousity and he left me one in return late last night. I guess I'm still fixated on a coupe but his name and phone # are in the listing if anyone is interested. Sounded sincere on VM for what it's worth.

993's
I had a few spare minutes, and I checked Autotrader for 993's. I found quite a few in the mid -30's, but the overwhelming majority had the dreaded tiptronic g box.
That second car listed, if legit, appears to be a good deal. |
