914-6 value check
I haven't seen many 914-6s trade recently, and I'm going to be asked to help a guy sell his.
I see asking prices all over the place - like $40s to $70s - but if anyone knows of an actual completed sale, I'd really appreciate hearing. In this case, it's a numbers-matching, very original car with no rust... but I can calculate from any type of sale report.

European Collectibles had a green one for 145k which was listed here for 85k. Don't see it in their inventory so likely sold. That car looked immaculate, though. Here's the ad when it was on Pelican:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/858836-1971-914-6-sale.html This one is listed for 150k: http://www.makellosclassics.com/?p=12063 I'd like to take a look when your guy is ready to sell. I'm local, talked to you before about a 912 you were going to help with. I'll shoot you a PM with contact info. |

I sold my 1970 914-6 that had belonged to John Buffum (Green metallic) for $95,000
It was a concourse car- w/orig 36,000 miles. I think prices are slowing down unless it is perfect or close to it. Cars w/rust issues non-matching numbers are slowing down in my opinion |
