Boost is for guys who require a little blue pill to perform.

I guess the same applies to needing bulging fenders and huge tails, too, right?!

Ronnie, once again thanks for carrying on the humor in the New Year. I have to say every time I log in I wonder 'What's Ronnie gonna post today?' Classic stuff. Nice to mix it up from concrete Porsche talk.

I was out of town for a week and a half for Christmas and the first thing I did when I pulled into my garage in the other car was get in the 911 and just sit in it and smile. I still regularly go to the garage just to look at it. So...I think I own a 911 because I freaking love it. :)

Some folks just can't buy a sense of humor. On a related note, I'm glad that the Mighty Pieholio and I are friends. I would never want to be on his bad side.

I have pondered this question myself. For me, all cars (well the cool or old ones anyway) have soul. Not all speak to me, but I can generally appreciate anything interesting and see why someone would be emotional about it.
This is my first 911, and its far from the fastest car I have owned, it may now handle the best (but it didnt stock)nothing for it is cheap, but everything for it (save the CIS) is simple and much if it lacks elegance. The transaxles are almost a shame. But, I think ever since I heard my first 911 screaming at full song, there was something about the flat six that spoke to me. Even stock they sound great and are willing partners for any spirited drive.
With the addition of the new exhaust, there is nothing as intoxicating as the sound.

That said, SCs have been climbing in value steadily and I wanted in before they, too, soared out of reach. I didn't buy it as an investment, but I have kept the value of the car in mind when modifying it, and I bought it right.
Since I go through cars like underwear, none of my friends would be surprised to see me sell this car in 6-9 months. But I think this one might just be a keeper..Like my 58 Mercury hardtop wagon...just something about it

My $.02

I thought it best for him to rethink his stance, Matt.

Should I mamby pamby around like folks did with the guy who was furious about people coming to his door to ask if his car was for sale or should I just put that kind of issue to bed by being Mr. Bad Touch? I provided that member an opportunity to rethink his stance, if I remember correctly. I think we can call it a correction.

Pushing my Luck? Where might he be? Why is that? Ask Mr. Bad Touch.

Pleco who I loved dearly. Gone. Mr. Bad Touch.

Me, too. I wish he were still around. And more than that, I wish I could have talked him into buying a couple of the cars he passed on for really no good reason.
