Fun car for not a lot of money
Not mine and no connection, but I think this would be a fun car for not crazy money.
It would have been better of course with out the flares to have the real sleeper thing going on. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-cars-sale/900261-1977-porsche-911-targa-w-3-6-varioram-motor.html |

I agree.
Somebody who likes Targas and lives in a no smog state can have a lot of fun with this baby.

I saw that car. That would be fun. Too bad it's not a 74.

At that price get a PPI and do your best to make sure the motor is decent and you cant go wrong. A good 993 3.6 with vario is going to be nearly $20k itself. Looks like its a perfect car to take in a direction you want.
I would ditch the tail and the BBS's, you can get a decent price for them, although they're a PITA to ship. Find a flat deck lid and some Fuchs or knockoff Fuch's and you have a driving project with lots of possibilities.
