So it looks like almost 1000 of us clicked on this ad. It was almost too good to be true so I followed up with my email address. I received a dozen more pictures with almost zero additional info.

Car looked great so I sent an email with 14 questions, touting my familiarity with the Greater Toronto Area since the ad stated it was there somewhere and how I could easily have some friends inspect. Please send me your phone number so we can talk also.

No answers to any of my questions next, so I told him if we don't talk we can't move forward.

Nothing....except an email saying the car is in Ohio. (car has Ontario plates in the ad)

What? The ad said GTA? Give me your number or forget it.

I call and get an Asian named James. Why is the car in Ohio? Oh, I moved to Ohio....very poor English BTW. CIS or MFI? Silence. Original engine? Yes, matching numbers 2.7. Huh?

What kind of wheels? Silence.

The phone keeps breaking up. I think I called China or something thru an Ohio area code. Finally he tells me he'll call me back...probably because he couldn't answer any of my questions about the car.

Total scam, beautiful car.

Yes, it sure does appear to be a scam clone of a real ad from a while back.

I know this car as its former owner of 12 years is one of the mechanics who work on my cars and he just sold it for more than that about 2 months go.

Yes it was in Toronto when those pictures were taken.

It was a nice car needing a few aesthetic changes back to a more stock look.
