My attorney.....your attorney....not going to go well and will be more costly than the return. If you can go to small claims court and VA has statues to back you up..that is the route I would possibly take. In my opinion, the records should have some value.....good luck.

Would it be worth travelling to the seller to get the paper work in person? Might be an option if the distance isn't too far or you can take a vacation in the area.
I am selling my 106k mile C4S and have no receipt for a top end and clutch. Only verbal from the previous owner and the shop. No details on the work either. I can tell you this is a big deal for buyers. |
That's a big deal but in my experience it's the norm rather than the exception. Cars with stacks of receipts are few and far between.
