What is the Value for a 1976 930 Turbo motor # 6860291

What is the Value for a 1976 930 Turbo motor # 6860291 motor was rebuilt 5000 miles ago, unfortunately previous owner lost receipts, it runs Excellent and has lots of power, currently in a 1976 911, thinking of selling the motor, looking for a value, I've been told around $50K you guys are the experts what do you think? 916 996-9008 Randy or pm me

depending upon condition it could be worth $50,000 to the right buyer... defined as either the chassis holder for the motor or a 76 chassis owner looking for a "correct" motor for their chassis.... it is a valuable motor.... 76 turbo are selling strongly.....

I called it a $20k motor in that other thread. Worth twice that or more to someone with a turbo Carrera of the right year.

$50k if you owned the chassis it came out of, maybe $35k if owned a 76 930 that needed correct motor.

pu911 is right. Finally, the world woke up and sees what drew us . I've been watching Corvette guys enjoy this type of ride for a lot of years. If you own one or more, embrace it. I'll take another pint of your finest amber now!

Stuff was cheep (relatively) at one point... My father inlaw has an 83 sc cab with a 965 engine in it.
