That is one sweet Porsche. Mecum does get some special Porsche's. Many only see the auction show side, however Dana is a real gear head as owner ( or part owner ) of the corvette certification club, president of the vintage Indy racing club, family ownership of racetracks for decades and many other endevors. He is deeply involved and knows many major players in most areas of performance cars. So to see him be chosen to offer special Porsche's is no surprise to me. I remember well his efforts to be involved with the dispersal of Vasek Polak Porsche racing with all the many 934 935 917 and other important Porsche race cars tucked away in their spots including all the support parts and the tools to keep them racing.

This is as close as I'll ever get to own a car like that. Hope who gets it will enjoy the drive as much as I get from my made in the USA with mostly Porsche parts GT2. Yes that is an old school Jarvis motor.
