In Illinois our illustrious government allows the use of "plates of the era" on vintage cars like mine. So I run a 1967 tag on my 912 that I randomly bought - and carry my actual registered plates in the trunk. I would imagine I could just leave the black plates on this car just as I did with a 1956 Speedster that I ran the original Cali tag on when I drove it. Illinois is not alone either. Several States seem to allow this.

Nice car. I'd drive that in the slow lane with pride!
The interior is very close to what I want to do in my car. I think the tan tartan with the red stripe would look good with the Guards Red.

Believe it or not, I bought that car myself for $3,000 from a friend of my fathers. It was 3 years old and had 30K miles on it. Pristine example. Still remember his name. Stu Snowden.

It was my first car.
