Do Feeler threads ever lead to sales?

For Sale section you always see these Feeler threads "thinking of selling". Anyone actually purchase a car this way? Trades?

Probably if it's the right car priced accordingly.
Most feelers I see are priced to the moon.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure if it's a decent car and you make it known that you're not expecting double what it's worth, you'll get a bunch of PMs from interested parties. (Speaking as someone who's done the PMing before.)
