Modified 78 930 over on Rennlist - Thoughts?
Pretty nicely modified car! Dig the color and would probably leave it modified.. looks like it's going up for sale as is or returned to 930 trim possibly. So if anyone is looking for a good project and not looking for a stock car this is it! Wish I had the funds for a second
![]() Garrick Lew and his 78 930 - Rennlist Discussion Forums Since this is a market place discussion.. what are your thoughts on value as is? And returned to 930 exterior body parts? and Just put back together in the 964 body?

Cool car.
Like the guys in the thread said the value is in the original cars rather than the hotrods. put back together and running in the current state? I have no Idea and am waiting for the Gurus to chime in on this blown monster. ![]() |

I picked this up - as is. Going to bring it back with its factory 930 body parts and a set of 17in lindsey fuchs.
Porsche got back to me and its a PTS Metallic Timor Braun as listed on the build sheet. A 70s VW bug color. I was so excited that they actually knew the color - I forgot to ask about the interior color and options that were listed. Guess I will just have to wait until the COA comes in. Car has an interesting story, and can't wait to start working on it. |
