The 996 Turbo is one hell off a car. Fast, priced right, and comfortable for a long ride on the weekend.

Gotta be a coupe...with a clutch pedal...in Atlas Gray.

None of the air-cooled cars are fast, comfortable, or composed compared to a 718, so what's left? The way it looks, feels, sounds, smells, and appreciation. Horsepower is always nice, but it moves further down the list of importance over time. Most people leave their six-digit 930s in the garage anyway. That's what I don't understand.

I don't think I've come across one in Atlas grey, ever. Best bet might be buying another color and having it wrapped. I heard there's a place on Long Island where they are great masters at wrapping.

I had a 2011 C4 GTS on a 24 month lease. Yes, it was my DD at the time. Awesome car. About the only thing that bothered me was terrible road noise from the rear wheels. Crazy power, reasonable comfort and the last and best of the normal sized 911's IMHO. Turbos never interested me. They are for fat dentists.

I think you are confusing Turbos with Caymans, Boxsters and Macans (like the ones in yer sig), bro!

Before M491 prices went crazy, I thought it would be fun to put a 3.6 in a G50 M491 Targa. That sounds like a great car to me.

I would love to have an 8500rpm 3.0 twin plug MFI sprint spec motor in an M471. Poor man's SC-RS.
