Value of my set of 4 Genuine 16x9 ET60 Club Sport wheels, 1 bent.
Im curious what these are worth. I'd like to sell them but I'm looking for a general consensus on their value given that one wheel is bent.
I know the 16x9s are rare, as they only came on the rear of 951S cars, 928GT cars, and perhaps some 964 cars. There aren't that many out there, so I'd expect some moderate demand for these with the right buyer(s). The bent wheel is noticeably so when visually inspected on a balancer. I do not see any signs of cracking, so with the right tooling I'm sure its possible to repair seeing as these are fully forged wheels. Slight curb rash and nicks here and there, but they'll polish up quite nicely. Heres what they look like: If I had a solution to the bent rim and a P-car to put them on I probably wouldn't be interested selling. Oh well...my loss. If anyone sees this and would like to make me an offer, you are free to PM me on here, or email me directly at lonchman@gmail.com. Thanks in advance for any input on the pricing of these wheels! |

Looks like they are all 9's, from a 951S (either an '88 or '89).
- If so, it means you haven't got a set here, but rather two pairs of rears. But do check the other ones are not 8s, in which case you could have a set ... they look very similar on outside, difference is width. - No tire pressure sensors, so they are not from a 928. Other pair seems polished - the other pair looks like with original anodizing, however 1 wheel has some damage on edge of rim. They are very strong wheels, bent wheel will need heat to repair, which will also destroy remaining anodizing finish. Just how much does it wobble... 2-3mm is not noticeable, more than that it will shake when driving. 16" clubsport was a wheel many people have "upgraded" (downgraded) to some bigger cast wheels. Many cars are missing correct wheels, but it detracts from value they are not a set.
