Fuchs wheels, what are they worth

I have a set of 4 Fuchs wheels. 3 have 11/72 build dates, 1 has a 9/72 build date.
They could be painted black and would make 10 foot wheels. There is not much curbing and appear to be true. Of course, they are great candidates for refinishing or polishing. The fifth wheel has a 7/74 build date and is in poor shape, but would be fine to use as a spare tire.

Any ideas on price?

Thanks

Fuchs widths

Well, it's Duh on my part. The wheels in question are 6 by 15. Thanks for catching my hiccup.

No. "Duh" on your part. There were only 6" Fuchs in 72.

Not true.. 6, 7,8 & 9s were available in 1972. Hell, I have a 9X15 dated 3 71

What would have been the model that was used on?
I'm not being sarcastic. I'm truly curious as I suspect it was some kind of a racing wheel?

You are of course correct, special rare cars in 72 got special rare wheels.
Common S and such pedestrian 911's got the common production 6" wheel of 1972.

The various sized wheels were available through Porsche you didn't have to pony up for a factory race car to get these.

Refinished these are worth $3-4k to right buyer. $2k seems like a fair price for 6 x 15 fuchs of that vintage that need a little bit of work. You might find a an RS owner that needs a pair 6 x 15's for the front of their car.

And of course don't forget the old adage to all comments related to price: supply vs demand whether realistic or not. The quicker you need it, the more you are willing to pay.
