Thanks for the pricing.

Why are you using a rate of 1.68 ? U$D to € right now is about 1.07..... Each € cost about a one dollar seven cents. That's a huge difference.

What happened to that 1994 mint green Speedster?

Why are you paying VAT if you're a US buyer?

Color Commentary (entertainment value only)

Great Porsche auction; I have not thoroughly studied each car but here is my gut reaction....

996 love.... Lot 124 996 GT2CS sells strong for $234,960, Lot 143 2004 996 GT3RS @ $373,800 far exceeding pre-auction high estimate and Lot 144 2000 996 GT3CS sells for a very respectable $106,800. All three cars are sexy...... Will this change our appetites for standard unloved 996s. They have changed mine.....

Lot 131 1988 959S sold strongly @ $1,869,000. While under high estimate, it performed stronger than the other two 959 Komforts ($1,089,000 & $935,000) that have auctioned earlier this year. It should have, the Sport is a much more purposeful car. Tonight, I have something to pray for......

Turbo Love.... Lot 125 965 3.6S also crushed its high estimate @ $859,740. Lot 150 993 Turbo (Special Wishes) Cab....the auction slowed at $700,000 than ran up to $1,281,600 and much applause. Even a 924 got into the action with Lot 123 a 924 Carrera GT selling for $87,576 again exceeding its high estimate.

Lot 143 2010 997GT3RSR sold for $448,560. This also was a higher than expected sale; top estimate was $320,000. Jerry Seinfeld's 2012 Brumes Cup car sold last year for $462,000 with premium. This could be the new market.

Lot 155 964 Carrera Cup $213,600 & Lot 177 964 Carrera RS $213,600 these sales should make all those 964 Cup owners very pleased. I would even extend the sentiment to the RSA owners also..... There is not that much difference between the models.....

911/83 MFI motored cars Lot 160 1975 Euro Carrera $128,160 was a No sale and Lot 164 1973 Carrera RS Touring $512,640 seemed to be well bought in the current market. Again, I need to comeback to understand their respective shortcomings. There seem to be indications there were questions with the RS's documentation.... The Euro's owner was smart to place a reserve.

I was glad to see martini racing stripes not be rewarded on Lot 132 a 2014 Carrera S which sold for $117,480. Drives me nuts how some people believe stripes make a car worth $75,000 dollars more. Speaking of which Lot 170 1977 3.0 Carrera Targa for $149,520, strong money but it is a special wishes Turbo look.

Of course these are just my opinion.... the owners of the Swiss Collection must be very pleased as their cars sold well.... What a collection it was..... I definitely developed a new appreciation of the 996 era.....

The Porsche estimates were way low with many beating high estimate, unlike most of the other offerings. Someone got an awakening, I was one of them. Oh on another earlier post you did quote 1.068
