Value needed for a wrecked 1981 SC
I have a 1981 SC with a 3.2 that was a great running car until I wrecked it. I am now interested in selling it and was wondering if anyone could recommend a selling price.
The car had no mechanical issues until the accident. The car was hit in the front so the motor and transmission are fine as well as the interior of the car. I did sell the fuch wheel so right now it only has steel wheels. Any recommendations? |

Post some pics of the car, need to see how bad it's hurt before a value can be placed on it.

You still have some good money in the motor, tranny, interior, glass, rear susp... etc. You could also prob part out rear quarters, roof clip etc....
That being said, I've seen worse brought back to life. Does the damage visibly show buckling of the floor pan area? MattR

There is buckling in the floor of the car. The paddles were pushed into the cabin.

My WAG is 8-9,000 ball park as is, take it away. As much as 15,000 parted out with a good interior with sport seats.

Without seeing the interior, but assuming it's in decent shape, I'd put it at $12K as it sits. That's "parts value."
