The tail? I love the tail. and yes its a Munich plate been on there since the previous owner had it..
I drive it often but not very far, like 2500 miles a year.

That is actually the correct tail, so keep it. And as others said, DON'T SELL IT.

Well said.

Vintage car ownership is not only about what you prefer.
It's partly about preserving what was there before you.
Many will disagree, of course.

I wouldn't of course. Sold my Camaro 69 Z28 RS a month or so ago. By the way thanks for your advice to detail it long while ago. Never did just me being too far away. I did pass on what I could to the buyer, one decade my ownership, another decade my home town friend's ownership. I introduced them. Therein the buyer was introduced to the previous owner in West Virginia where my friend bought it. I even made the buyer see the car with his own eyes before purchase just because I'm old fashioned. Car was never on the market, so he got first crack at it and took it. Finally, I gave him the personalized plate 1969Z28 Nevada. The DMV might be up my ass for that but good luck to them. It's been on the car for 20 years in NV. It is part of the car's history, so I thought it belongs to the new owner! SmileWavy

Was that when sugarwood started his muscle car thread after I mentioned this car and Toby requested pix of it? Has it been that long?
