P-cars to buy now for the average Joe with children

So after 1.5 years Porscheless (shut up Ronnie) I found something original and affordable. Being a child of the mid 70s to 80s I love designs from then. Started with a 924s when I got my drivers license, moved on to Carrera, 964 WTL etc. So now I am back to basic.

This will do for a working dad for now. As you can see the seller is an Elvis lover. Much like Ronnie. White Porsche...Elvis? Hmmmmm.

These are cool cars. Congrats.
Not exactly air cooled feel, but cool none-the-less.

Nice. Early ROW 944s had 163 hp and weighted less than US models, maybe 100lbs? Much quicker from what I've heard. Prettier bumpers too.

White. I wonder what Ronnie would say about such a color choice.

I always knew that Chris had a serious man-crush on me, and here is even more confirmation (now, only if it turbo powaaaa', then look out loins!).

P-nutz, please do not influence the Dangling Dane to purchase another pedal car - that's just wronger than wrong!

Thought about it. But I still like women more than men. Seriously though, a nice silver one with red leather like the prototype would be good. But with children rear seats are key. And I think that convertilbles are very 5 years ago.

A Porsche is a Porsche, and it's always better to have one than not. I see a lot of guys with project cars who may never get done with them. I advise they sell them and buy something they can enjoy. A few years ago I pulled a very original T5 out of a barn, the current owner was the Grandson of the 2nd owner, who got the car when it was a year old. He really wanted to do the car but really didn't have the money or the skills to do it right so he called me. I bought the car, it sold to a guy in Dubai, who had more than enough money. What did the young guy buy with my money, a very very nice 944, he brought it by the shop and I have to say it was impressive. So he could have sat in his garage and stared at a car he may never drive or he could be hauling arse around corners in a Porsche! I think he made the better choice.

I always love the 944 convertibles. They have a killer speedster look with the top up and just don't seem to get any love. Good look, limited edition, reasonable pricing but?
