04 GT3 Value(s)
I'm looking at an 04 GT3 w/82k on the odometer. Full service history, midnight blue over black, no stories car. Can someone give me an idea of what I should possibly pay with this limited info ?

Lower $60s upper $50s

Clean, or defiled with scrotch harnesses and other track mods? If clean I would say 60s all day long.

No mods, 2 owner car, clean Carfax.
Thank you for the help fellas ! |

So....just found out that the service history is very limited as the first owner did all his own work as he owns a European car repair shop. How does that affect the value on this GT3 ?
|
mid to high 60's.
i dont think you can buy 996gt3 in ANY condition in the 50's anymore. |
Pretty sure Magnus recently bought one right around $60k if not a little less. There deals out there. I wouldn't spend over lower $60s if there is little to no service history and 82k on the clock. What ever you decide make sure to paint meter the car. Lots of 996 GT3's have been tracked/ragged and put into walls. You can always spend around $70k and get yourself a real nice example with way lower mileage. Best of luck.

Do not know if this is still on the market, listed on Cars.com last night. |

That car will be sold in a day at that price unless it has a salvage title.

The market splits between track rats and garage queens... big difference in price.
I've got an 04 that could be had in the mid-$70s. Immaculate, no mods, 31K miles. |
^ truth. sold mine 14000 miles 85k

I'm betting there are very few 'no stories' or not flogged GT3's out there.
|
I understand finding a GT3 not ridden hard is a difficult task, Porsche should have built a whole lot more of them (at a bit more reasonable price). I'd love to own one not flogged to death. But... Porsche built the car specifically for the track, people are using them exactly as intended.
It's too bad the regular 996/997 aren't up to the abuse of the track to the same degree the GT cars are right out of the box. |
That ones been for sale for 5-6 months and has dropped 10-15k in price. I keep meaning to go check it out, but the longer it sits the more I wonder what is wrong with it.

I sure hope when the new 991.2 GT3's with "real" 6 speed manual transmissions start hitting the streets they help alleviate the demand for the older 996 & 997 GT3's.
My bucket list car is a 997.2 GT3, but my Roth has been unable to keep up with the wacky 996/997 GT3 appreciation over the past few years! Finding any GT3 that has not been wailed on within an inch of their service life is indeed difficult... |
