Cayenne turbo vs S
I'm looking at a 2011 Cayenne Turbo or S. I have a 2004 Cayenne S and it has been a great car. I can get a nice 2011 S for around $30k. Or spend $10k more and get a turbo...
Was looking at the Hybrid and the (2013) diesel as well. But the diesel is too slow. Hybrid seems like a lot to break. Anyone have their $.02 they want to throw in?

This is my completely biased opinion: get the turbo
I had an 04 S, now I have an 06 Turbo S. I friggin LOVE IT. 520 hp daily driver that does equally well in snow and rain at 140 mph.what a beast. Get the turbo, get the turbo !!! I'll never NOT drive the Cayenne turbo , and I have multiple Porsches in my garage. The Cayenne turbo is the funniest DD I have ever owned. . Ps - 1. get the panarama all glsss roof it's sweet too. 2.best stereo to vibrate mirrors at top volume. 3. Beat that Porsche on a daily basis , it can take it. |

My 2 cents: I have a cayenne S hybrid- it's freaking fast. I love the hybrid technology. The engine will shut off at red lights and starts in electric mode which is great for city driving. It's extremely responsive on the highway and impressive off-road. Its performed magnificently this winter in numerous trips to our mountains for skiing. No mechanical issues : 2012 with 75k miles.

A little late but I had at one time an 04 Cayenne turbo and a 14 cayenne GTS. The GTS was fully optioned $110k MSRP great ride but in the end I only needed the one and the 04 turbo stayed. I wish the earlier car had some of the newer options but you can't argue with the power of the turbo. I will drive the turbo into the ground it is just a great car.

Arggggg
Decisions decisions. 1st world problems for sure. I found a sweet 2012 Cayenne S. Under warranty. In my price range. Under $35k. I just wonder if I get a 2009 Turbo S if I can live with the same interior for the next x years...
