Ranchy ....I spoke with him on Monday, tried to see the car, it was allegedly in a shop near my house getting a battery and oll change. I said I would stop by to see it and then Ranchy go nervous, said he would call back..and nothing. No response to email or text. Went by the shop and no record of the car in that day. Only one battery was changed that day, and it was not his.

I think this guy is fishing for deposits, honestly. He texted me on a 213 Los Angeles area code, which I called and spoke with him. Next day the number is no longetr in service and he posting messages to immediately sell his car well below market. Now he ups the price.

Word to the wise. Stay away from this guy. He is not legit...otherwise he would have showed the car and sold it by now.

I'm really disappointed in you War584. Atleast, now you know why I stopped taking offers when I told you I did and that was because "the guy who started this thread" told me to when he was going to buy the car. As soon as he changed his mind, I decided to raise the price after I was advised to by my mechanics. The choice is yours to believe or not. I'm done here.

Funny as it may seem, I just came up to update my asking price for the car and I come by all these. He didn't even have the decency of telling me directly that he was no longer interested in the car after providing all that he requested for. Fine by me. I'm back to taking offers for the car.
ranchy, lets be totally honest here, I've been overly communicative with you and I did ask you to explain why the shop said that the name on the invoices didn't match what they had on their invoices ? You said that you would sort it out and 48 hrs later nothing. I spoke with the shop twice and the owner said that there was no mistake on their end and all I wanted was clarification. I'm sorry it went sour but I did text you as you said you were extremely busy & I then posted my thread. You also stated that the car needed nothing that you were aware of but the invoice from the shop said otherwise.

Considering all the scams out there I was doing my due diligence and was being very cautious, the name on the invoice that didn't match the name on the shops copies was what brought up a major red flag and that made me very uncomfortable. As I mentioned in my text(s) it wasn't personal, you were nice on the phone and I bare no grudges, end of.

By the way, I have the proof and I have no reason to lie and I did communicate a lot due to other red flags that I haven't mentioned here.

As we've seen recently in Washington, attack your detractors to gain credibility. It works from Cheeto, so why not car salesman?

kc911s 05-18-2017 09:24 AM

I love the "priced to sell fast" at $22,500 in his ad. It didn't sell fast at his original price, now he raises it and thinks it will sell even faster?? Makes me laugh.

Now this is interesting....

Re: IMS bearing and clutch for $1500

IMS bearing and clutch can be replaced for $1500.00? Really? The clutch kit cost is over $600, and the IMS bearing kit is around that number as well. Who is doing the wrenching? R&R a 996 C4S transaxle for cost on parts and $300!?

TOTAL AND COMPLETE FRAUD - VERIFIED TODAY. I called on the Craigslist add, spoke with the owner. He put his car on Craigslist several weeks ago and has been negotiating with a foreign sounding individual who convinced him to remove the Craigslist add. which the owner did. The owner is straight shooter and has now put his car back on Craigslist, which is the above link above. It is legit. Car is in good shape but needs some repairs.

All the info Urseppos asked for, picture, repair bills, etc. was simultaneously requested of the owner and sent by Ranchy back to Urseppos. I spoke with Urseppos to compare notes and spoke with the owner who confirmed the guy sounds the same. The owner said his identity was stolen a month ago and this could be the result.

Mystery solved...Ranchy, you're a Fraud!!!!

Matt Monson 05-18-2017 01:01 PM

Well done.

Toast54 05-18-2017 05:09 PM

So, if the legitimate owner has relisted the CL ad at 29.9, how does he come up with a $1500 IMS AND clutch quote? What am I missing? Is he absorbing most of the repair cost in the sale?

Somebody call Massengill customer disservice, there are douches on the loose!

Communicate we did but fortunately & unfortunately there was another Pelican that smelled a rat & that rat sounded like he was from West Africa, no disrespect towards anyone form WA. He portrayed himself as French born but when I asked him a question in french he said he didn't understand as he was brought up in the US. Such a thick accent & you were brought up in the US ?

He portrayed himself as someone else and he didn't have all his t's crossed & I's dotted and another Pelican caught on to similar. He did have the audacity to argue the toss on this forum and how easily some can be swayed, considering he/it has been on this site for a flipping nanosecond.

All sorted now bar the fact that this individual has an open account at Key Bank in Indianapolis where the toe rag wanted money deposited. Isn't this a Federal offense ? Just because he's been ousted here on Pelican doesn't mean that this "Kevin" won't do this to others in the not too distant future. This asshat needs to be behind bars.
