Why did'nt this 930 get any bids?

I know the ad was not done very well and the pictures were not the best. But a 79 930 with rebuilt engine and gearbox for 60K no reserve and not one bid. Anyone have an opinion?

^^^Ha Ha

Probably a repaint to a different color, may have been wrecked, AC compressor missing, engine rebuild quality??, wheels changed, Ect.
It's seems to be priced at market. I would need a COA and a proper PPI. 930 Buyers today aren't looking for drivers. They want garage queens.
This one could be a great driver. But you better have an extra $20K minimum set aside to put into it.
Main thing is there is not enough information in the add to bid on.

Listing ended by seller usually means he sold it

The seller can cancel all the bids before the end of the auction and then end it early, if it looks like it will sell cheap or he gets a offer on the side.

Well it does say " This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing."

I saw the auction with an hour or so left and there were no bids...maybe he took an offer as it wasn't getting any action at 60

All good points but I would think someone would pay at least 60 for a driver. If he did sell I wonder what he took for it. I have not seen many driver 930s go for under 60K in the last couple of years.

There is a 79 local to me for 62.5 that needs some work from sitting and the interior needs some help
as well so I don't think the red one at 60k was a bad deal by any means.

Likely sold for way more than starting bid of $60K.

This is what players do, ask seller for contact no., close the deal.
