Was Charlotte the best PCA Parade ever?
In the summer of 2008, the city of Charlotte, North Carolina literally rolled out
the Red Carpet for Porsche Club's national Parade. And they showed us what Southern Hospitality is all about. I think the key to the success of this Parade was welcoming hundreds of Porsche people and their beloved cars to join this bustling city for one week. No jumping from one venue to another for us this time, this Parade was Downtown all the way. Early on the first morning, as I was sweat-polishing the 911, a small boy, about 9 or 10, stopped to watch. He watched intently for maybe 15 minutes without saying a word , and when he turned to leave, I bet myself that he would look back. And he did. See "Panorama" September '08 for full story of this Parade. Manor House Motorsport Last edited by belly dancer; 06-23-2017 at 08:17 AM.. |
