Every time I see this ad I laugh.

This car is worth nothing more than a proper ROW SC of the same year - and to the right person, maybe, just maybe $5K more. No more than this.

Unusual, yes. Rare, maybe. But being rare and unusual doesn't make this SC worth more than a ROW SC in my eyes - it being a police car means nothing.

The only ex-police car that would conceivably be worth more than the stock comparable car is the real Blues Mobile. Now that's an ex-police car worth having - and I saw one of the real ones used in the movie back when I was growing up in Connecticut at the Sycamore in Bethel, CT. He even had the cheese whiz on the dash.

If I recall correctly, Sloan had a police 911 which they were marketing as the crown jewel of their collection. No idea what kind of money they were asking but being Sloan it would have been way more than $150k, I think.

I don't care if it was just imported from Kathmandu. My question was at what point does 'just imported' become specious?

I mean technically you could say that they were all just imported from Germany.

As for cop cars? People seem to be forgetting the Carrera RS cars. Those are worth some serious money. An SC? Not so much but an RS that saw police service. Hell yeah.
